Because I'm Terrible at Scrapbooks

Thursday Things, 4 Feb 15

Our minds do funny things sometimes.

Well, mine does anyway.

For example, the other day I told Will my, “hungry was tummy.”

Two things-

1. Yes, I really did say that.

And

2. Yes, I really did say that.

Posh Paper

Please tell me you remember when pink toilet paper used to be a thing?

I’m not making this up, guys.

It was a real thing, I promise!

Will had no idea they used to manufacture such beautifulness (well… If you consider TP beautiful).

Out of curiosity last week, I looked to see if anyone still makes it.

You can pick up 32 rolls for a meager $50. Ha!

That seems just a bit too exorbitant for something like toilet paper.

There goes my hope of having pink toilet paper in all the bathrooms.

I’m sure Will is quite relieved I’m over this… For now.

Why does NBC hate me!?

Parenthood is officially over.

I was sad to see it go. I feel like there are no shows about real life on prime time TV these days. They’re all cop shows, crime investigation shows, medical shows, and “reality” TV.

I liked Parenthood because I felt like I knew the cast. They were real, regular people living a life I could relate to, to some degree.

So yeah. No more.

I was thankful for how the show ended. They did a good job of flashing forward a couple years so I (haha, yes, me and only me) could see how they turned out.

Gosh I’m really sad sometimes. But hey- if you watched the show, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

The Economics of Fun

For some really strange reason, Will had sort of gotten into Love It or List It on the HGTV channel.

It’s funny.

He watched it with me a few times over break, but now he’s taping shows for us to watch when there’s nothing else on.

I think it has to do with the fact that he’s always shocked how much houses in urban Canada cost.

Seriously- like $1M for 2,000 square feet sometimes.

I secretly think it makes him thankful we live in quiet Oklahoma and have a ridiculously terrific cost of living.

Best Super Bowl Recipe Roundup!!

That wasn’t.

I thought it would be a great idea to do a recipe roundup this week in preparation for the Super Bowl… Which happened last week.

Oops. So yeah, no recipe roundup.

Today’s TBT pic comes in celebration of all the Girl Scout Cookie posts I’ve seen EVERYWHERE.

Brittny Flint-8 yrs old at Girl Scout Camp

Seriously, as a kid who had a parent that helped me out too, you guys should totally get free cookies.

Anyway, here’s a picture of me at Girl Scout camp in Germany way back on the day.

I have stains all over my shirt.

I’m assuming they’re leftover thin mint smears. Even 20 years later, this still happens.

For real.
