I'm Mrs. Oh My Gosh That Brittny's Shameless

National “No One Told Me 3 October Was Delurk Day So I’m Having it on 16 October” Day!

imageimage

Yeah, so what’s up with that!?

Did you guys know The Great Delurk Day was October 3rd?

ME EITHER!

Granted, there’s probably like 10 of these days throughout the year, because really, who regulates a “national day” devoted to delurking?

Anyhow, I didn’t participate in last year’s great “delurk” post and vowed to myself I wouldn’t miss the next Delurk day.

(yes, I really vowed. I stood tall and proud and proclaimed that surely I would not miss out on 2007 National Delurk Day.

Then I saluted my computer.)

So I don’t freaking CARE that I’m 13 days late. It’s delurk day, darnit! I said so!

So, you guys know what to do. Leave a comment (click on “share the love") and come out of your lurking state. Let’s be friends!

That’s all you have to do! So easy!

Just say hi! (<- see! We even talked about how easy saying "hi" is in yesterday's post! I was just getting you guys warmed up to the idea to do the same and I didn't even know it!) Where are you from? What do you do? Any weird habits? Any embarrassing moments?

Piece of cake!

I'm particularly interested in all my Okie friends that visit. Stillwater, Oklahoma who are you? I'm having terrible nightmares that you're someone I know. Please, please I urge you- prove me wrong! ha ha

I'm also curious about the Kuwait readers. I know my sister P is one, but who are all you other people? Delurk!

I look forward to your responses. I've really been wondering who some of you are and I finally look forward to finding out-

So don’t let me down!

To be fair- afterall, I’m “forcing” you to delurk- you can ask me questions too since I’m asking you some. I’ll answer them tomorrow

Delurk!

PS-To all you you guys that didn’t celebrate Delurk Day on 3 October either, we can make this our day. smile

What are you doing still reading? DELURK ALREADY!

<3

I may not classify as a “lurker” but I have been very bad about posting to your blog lately! But, I’m still around and still reading, so Hello!

Posted by Trish J  on  10/16  at  04:47 AM

well, you know me already.  i always read, but don’t always comment… Annie, 29, Tampa, FL, US.  Mother of 3 (soon to be 4, shh....  it’s a secret)… and wife of 1.  And missing my Dreams perfume… apparently it was discontinued already and is out of stock.  boo hoo.  oh well.  i’ll find a new one i like, i’m sure.

Posted by Annie  on  10/16  at  05:02 AM

I’m technically a lurker… I followed quite a few Nesties over and voila!  I love your posts--you’re so funny and you’re not afraid to post about some of the things I’m sure a lot of us are thinking… about me.. I’m 24, married for 2+ years now.  Live in StL.  And I’m pretty boring!!

Posted by Mel  on  10/16  at  05:08 AM

I must admit ... I lurk ... but not really on current posts, I lurk in the past, the posts that have happened when I’m out for days and come back lost and out of the loop.  Other than that I’d say you know me pretty well. wink

Have a lovely day!  I have to go over the Annie’s blog now (just read her comment)!

I always read but have only commented once before in the past.  My name is Lydia, I’m 28, I live in the Dallas area.  I found you on the nest, thought you were hilarious and followed you here.  I’m a stay at home mom to one 2 year old boy who is really like 5 children all rolled up into one.  He runs me ragged, but I love him to pieces.  Happy Delurking Day!  wink

you know me...i’m definately a lurker. lol ever since i found your blog on the nest i have been addicted to reading what’s going on in your life. i think that if i had a blog, it would be just like yours. i love reading it because we have the same sense of humor. my husband is probably thinking i’m crazy when i’m laughing to myself in the office...hahaha. hope all is well in Q8. oh, BTW i’m 23, live in Stillwater, lurk from my home office computer, have 2 dogs, 0 children and love CHOCOLATE!!!

Brittny--
I often read your blog, though I have never posted a comment.  I know it sounds weird, but I thought of you and Will this weekend when OU played MU.  My husband and I have been married for 3 years and live in the Kansas City, Missouri area, and my husband is a huge MU fan.  I tried to start a blog, but I realized that I have permanent writer’s block.  Oh well...I used to be on the Nest, and my screen name was JK’s Happy Wifey (I think my account is deactivated now, though--part of their wonderful, excellent, oh-so-great redesign and upgrade).

I don’t really remember how I got started reading your blog...I think maybe I saw you featured in a bridal magazine or something.  Oh well--feel free to email me, and I’ll let you know if I ever re-start my de-activated blog.  Definitely not on the Nest.  Have a great day in Q-8!!

I don’t lurk...but if I did I’d want to continue to remain in anonymity. That’s right...just to drive you crazy! wink Hope you’re having a great week. Love you girl!

Posted by Kristen  on  10/16  at  08:05 AM

I comment from time to time so does that clear me from the lurker category? LOL I’m still around reading your blog.  But not from OK...you have a VA gal on your hands. smile

Posted by Jenn  on  10/16  at  08:43 AM

I comment on your blog (at least I try to) frequently, and you read mine, but just for the sake of a “roll call”, I figured I would leave a comment so as not to seem like I actually wanted to be considered a lurker, or something like that!

Posted by Platinum Rose  on  10/16  at  08:49 AM

I comment!  I swear!

Posted by Ann M.  on  10/16  at  11:19 AM

Delurking!  I’m a nestie who found your blog by way of a couple of other nestie’s blogs.  I’m not consistent, but I try to stop by every now and then and read all the posts I missed.  When I first came across your blog I was really excited because… my husband and I both went to OU, too!  (It really is a small world.)

Hey Brittny
I guess you could call me a lurker now but I wasn’t always. I was on the nest but when everything was changed I decided that I never had anything to say so I never changed to a different site but I have had an itch to start again. I have been reading still but I do miss a lot of the other nesties that moved becaused I didn’t get any passwords for the private blogs. So anyway, I’m Jill from Minnesota! I’m 27, been married for 2+ years and some exciting news.... we are expecting our first in March! Talk to you later =)

Posted by  on  10/16  at  06:30 PM

Yeah, I’m not really a lurker and I’m sure you know I’m here, but…

Hi! smile

You’re right, it was easy!

Posted by JessPond  on  10/16  at  08:02 PM

looks like a great way to meet new people Britt - good for you for doing it… I try not to lurk… so I’m not DE-lurking… I’m just commenting as usual smile XOXO

hello, I started reading your blog on the nest website and loved it! I’ve just kept reading since, but don’t blog myself, should probably start. I’m 22, married for 2 years, and right now am teaching the nursery age kids at church. Keeps me busy! smile God Bless

"KMT?”

“Present”

There’s my roll call, Brittny!  My name is Kristin, I am a teacher (help), and I live in Salt Lake City (help again).

I think I’ll call out for a delurking, too!  How fun.  Just think, you are popular all around the world!  Hope all is well!

Hi! I’m a semi lurker. I’ve replied to some of your posts before and really enjoy reading your blog. smile

I used to not be such a lurker...but I guess I am one these days. Anyway, have a great day.

Your very good notes referring to this good post must be open for all people, just because they want custom thesis and good dissertation service or just thesis help.

You have to buy essays, if you really care just about your career.

According to my analysis, billions of persons on our planet get the home loans from good creditors. Thence, there is good chances to find a bank loan in every country.

An academic career is the main target of my life and I can make everything for that. I will use Writing research paper services if it is required.
