Thank God for Labor Day, right!?

I’m off today and so happy.

As you can see from my Flickr photos, the shopping trip was a bust. Not only did I get a theft device thingy caught in ym hair, but I didn’t find any clothes. :( I was too late and they had a lot of fall stuff put out- which is hilarious considering it’s been 120 everyday this week.

We still had a great time.I really needed to get out and go shopping. By the way- that pirate shirt over there? Me and P both blurted somehting out the second I put it on, only she said, “That’s hot!” and I said, “That’s Hideous!” ha ha, gotta love opinions. It was the big theme at Topshop. They had them in every color imaginable. I didn’t buy one, don’t worry.

The night ended with us ordering fruit salads and halloumi cheese sandwiches from Casper & Gambinis (yum), and watching Children of Men- another totally “unchick flick” movie.

Then we ended up staying awake to watch horrible late night TV like “Yo Mamma” and some other stupid crap. It’s amazing what’s funny when you’re tired.

I heard from Will at 4 this morning, so that was nice. I don’t remember a lot of the conversation because I was sleeping but I remember something about a dog, the OU game today, and Mexican food.

Weird.

I was so happy to talk to him though.

Today we’re off for brunch and I’m not sure what else. I only wish I were off the whole week like Will.

Oh well.

I hate a day of shopping and coming home empty handed.  Sounds like you had a lot of fun though. =) I’m so glad you had the chance to talk to Will, even if you were half sleeping.  I am sure he assured you that he does miss you and love you, especially after that short and to the point text message. 

Brunch sounds good, maybe I’ll join you. wink

Don’t you hate when you can’t find CRAP when you’re shopping and you have such big shopping hopes??? That stinks. But oh my. What stinks worse? A theft device stuck in your hair! Ow! The pics are too cute though. Glad you got SOME time off from work!

Carissa’s hair looks great, and I personally LIKED the pirate shirt...very sexy...I suggest one in electric blue.

it sounds like you two are having a great ole time! That blows about shopping. I think it is murphy’s law-when you want to buy nothing is there, when you don’t or can’t buy--everything is there! Have a nice long weekend!

Glad you’re having fun with P!  And even if you don’t like the pirate shirt, it did look nice on you (or at least it did in the picture).  I totally understand why you’d be thinking of me this weekend, and it doesn’t sound crazy at all.  I know it is hard without Will, even with all the time you’re spending with P.  But think of the reunion you’ll have when he comes back wink

That sounds similar to MY success while shopping last weekend.  It always seems like when you WANT to go shopping, you can’t find a darn thing.....but when you don’t can’t afford anything, the whole store looks fantastic!  Personally, I think the “pirate shirt” looked really good!

I’ve also been known to answer my phone in my sleep and not remember anything about the converstaion the next morning....Whoops!

Good site. I like your commenting system. Sorry for the off-topic posting, however I ended up being extremely astounded with Djokovic’s play in the final of the Australia OPen this year. The man is probably unbeatable. He proved he was as powerful as stainless steel. Simply imagine about he he could overcome Nadal who had previously been so motivated to gain as well as really was so pumped up while in the fifth set. I am beginning to think that Djokovic is doing some faith based work to bring some aids on his side which help him win this sort of matches up against the best players in the world
