I'm Mrs. Oh My Gosh That Brittny's Shameless

I Now Remember Why I Hate Living Here Seven Months Out of the Year

I spent a portion of my afternoon huddled with my coworkers in the break room.

Waiting for the tornado sirens to stop blaring their screams of terror.

Just two weeks ago I was stuck inside my house due to an ice storm,

and today it was 70 degrees and our state endured multiple tornadic storms.

Tornadoes!

In February!!

Why- why in the world would I live here?

I have a feeling you’ll be hearing me say that a lot this spring.

Suddenly missing the hellish heat of weatherless Kuwait…

Tornados?!  Seriously.  I’d be so scared!  (I’m not helping, am I?)
[Would you believe I originally spelt “tornados” “tornado’s”.  Yikes]

I’ll shut up about the snow we got today....Suddenly it doesn’t seem so bad.

ahhh omg omg omg omg omg WHY DID YOU NOT MESSAGE ME!?!?!?!? I’ve been calling mom every 15 minutes now because we’ve had the worst dust storm EVER here (i’m really not exaggerating- she was on the side of the road for an hour before she could see)
Why why why does our family insist on not calling each other! AHHHHHHHHHH come home Dorothy!

Pennsylvania has no tornados.  Maybe you should move here--like next door to me

LOL, I was totally going to ask you if a tornado scare was worse than an actual sand/dust storm.... guess you would have had crappy weather today no matter where you were (except here.  our weather was perfectly fine here).

OH MY GOSH I KNOW.

I’ve been worrying now that your tornadoes are headed here to Ohio!  I hate tornadoes!  UGH!  It’s the main reason we have a basement in this house!

That is SO crazy!  I am glad you are okay!  We had a few in Chicago over the summer, and I remember thinking that it was just going to be the end, because we had no where to go in our little house and so we sat and played poker with vanilla wafers.  We found out the next night that there had been a tornado that touched down about 3 miles from our house.  It was scary, but I’m sure not nearly as scary as what you guys have.

I hear you!  We were under tornado warnings all day, but thankfully we didn’t have any!  I hate tornado season and the sad thing is, tornado season isn’t even here yet!!  I’m glad you are okay!

Crazy weather indeed!  I could not live somewhere that there’s constant tornado warnings.  Just could not handle that!  Stay safe!

As a fellow tornado alley resident, I feel your pain.  We’ve been lucky so far, but I think Little Rock had its first tornado of last year by the end of February.  :| I’m holding out hope that we’ll be tornado free for a little bit longer.  I’m glad you are safe!

I.Hate.Tornadoes.

While we are not in tornado alley we get so many warnings a year that it is scary. We have a basement and i guess if it was life or death i would go in it. but it’s downright scary.i do not go down there. ick. sorry to hear about today. those times are so scary.

Yikes, tornadoes… that’s scary!  The weather was freaky warm here though too.  Just plain crazy!
