I'm Mrs. Oh My Gosh That Brittny's Shameless

At the Touch of a Button

Have I ever told you guys how convenient it is to live in Kuwait? In fact, it’s too convenient.

Every place you can think of will deliver food to your house-

Chilis, Ruby Tuesday, Pastamania, Burger King, McDonalds (yeah- even fast food is faster)- you get the picture.

Heck, there are these little convenience stores in every neighborhod and you can tell them you need a bottle of water, 3 candy bars, and a box of tampons and they’ll deliver it to your door.

Life is too convenient here.

Do you want to know how I know that?

Last night I passed by a Subway that had, in big bold yellow letters, “We Deliver!!”

Does anyone see the irony in that?

Sort of defeats the purpose of an active lifestyle if you can sit on the couch watching The Biggese Loser, use your feet to cusp the phone off the coffee table and onto the couch, press speed dial, and order a 6 inch tukey- no cheese and fat free ranch, all without expending a single freaking calorie.

Well, actually, I think you burned a calorie or two while pressing speed dial!  smile

Fast food delivers?!  And I thought I had seen everything...what will you do upon your return to the states?

I prefer Jimmy Johns, but if Subway delivers ...

And everyone thinks Americans are lazy.  Apparently they havent visited Kuwait!

Have a great weekend!

woah… Thats craziness I tell ya!  I couldn’t imagine having my Subway delivered.  Although, if they did, I would probably eat more of it!

That’s really funny!!  I can’t believe everyone delivers.  Hopefully people still get out and go places and get at least a little excersise!

I don’t think I would ever leave the house!! What a scary thought because that would mean I might never lose the rest of this baby weight!!!

Have a great day!!

Ok, so I’m a little slowing on catching the welcome wagon. . .At least I made it here!!  Delivery would be WAY too convienient here. As it stand I walked the (maybe) 10 blocks to my parents to get my truck, and was thinking to myself “this isn’t bad, why don’t I do this more often??” Glad to see you back, missed all the great stories!

That is just too easy for me! I would cave and be a fast food ordering, delivery boys best friend in no time! Thank God the locals Zaxby’s doesn’t do that or it would be all over for me!

LOL!!  But I would kick BUTT for someplace around here that delivers anything at all!!  I guess that’s the price we pay for building our home in the country, 1/2 hour from......anything remotely classified as a town! smile

I’d love that, but it probably wouldn’t do a thing for the diet!

Holy Crap!  Micky D’s delivers???  That is so crazy!  It just reminds me of the new commercials they have now where the person drives up and orders, “A badonka butt, a flat tire and thunder thighs on the side!” HA!!  That’s sad...it’s really sad that SUBWAY delivers. (sigh).
