More Cubicle Communication Oddities

Um-

Does anyone think it’s totally BIZARO to send an email to someone I’m LITERALLY 2 1/2 feet from?

Yes, that’s right- I’m close enough to smell her deoderant (Hmm… Secret Platinum??) and we’re communicating via email.

What’s next? Am I going to be required to telephone her? Ahaha- that would be so funny.

Hmmm… maybe I should just do that for fun.

We get along great, but I always find it freaking hilarious when we do this email thing (I think it’s because she’s fasting and it makes her mouth really dry to talk.. think shards of cottony spit flying right at your face)

“Uh, hello! I’m right here. You can even whisper if you’d like! Hey! We could even play charades! How fun would that be!?”

Yesssss!! Charades <3

PS- Download every Thievery Corporation song you can find to your iPod and label the folder "Stuff to Listen to at Work. It Will Inspire Creativity and Calm Thinking, Make Me a Freaking Genius, and Most Importantly- a Model Employee" <- will that even fit as a folder name? Hmm...

Seriously. I feel a promotion looming.

Good morning Brittny!

It’s Sunday morning in Texas and I’m about to get ready for church.  Speaking of church - I don’t want to go.  For the last couple of months I have not wanted to go.  I’ve been going out of duty and guilt, to be truthful and I wish I could get out of this funk!

However, when I get there, it’s worth it.  I am always overwhelmed by God’s presence there and I think “how could I have not wanted to come to this?!?” God is so steadfast.  When I show up out of duty and guilt, He shows up out of love.  So, I’m going to go get ready now.

Oh - good day of college football yesterday!  I’m sorry it wasn’t as good for you, with Will’s night time antics.  Oh well, you understand grin He can’t help it.

Love ya lady!
Sarah

P.S. Yes, it’s bizarre to email a few feet away - but i’m guilty as well.  Sheesh!

I’ve been known to instant message a person that I am in the same room with...so email isn’t so bad!  Man, technology sure does make us lazy!
P.S. I LOVE Thievery Corp.  It has this strange effect on me.. and I like it.  rasberry Ok, I’m a big big dork.  I’ll stop now.

One of my college housemates (she was at the recent wedding too) and I used to IM back and forth.  We had bedrooms next to each other, but somehow it was more entertaining IM-ing than going next door to talk.  It was especially funny when she’d type “lol” and I’d actually hear her laughing. =) I miss those days…

Have a lovely day!

I e-mail the girl next to me about 100 times a day - I’m the writer and she’s the graphic designer. I think we do it for a lot of reasons:
80% - due to the fact we don’t want anyone to hear how totally unenthusiastic we are about our advertising campaigns
10% - because neither one of us can remember what we’ve decided to do from one day to the next, so it’s good to have a record, and
10% as a “CYA” safeguard. In case something goes horribly wrong, we have documented proof that we both vehamently opposed doing whatever management ended up deciding to do, despite our protests.

At the end of the year, I’d love to print out those e-mails and get them bound into a manuscript. I bet our ad campaigns would have brought in millions more, had we just gone with our gut, creative ideas!

I used to email the person sitting next to me ALL the time when I worked in a call centre.  Mainly becuase it was a boring job and we couldn’t always talk because we had wonderfully, friendly customers (or something) on the phone.  We emailed so much it was like IM.  So, emailing the person next to you is completely normal smile

Hi!  I honestly don’t remember what I clicked on, but somehow I ended up at your site, and I’ve been reading it for awhile now.  Just wanted to let you know so I don’t feel like a stalker!

Also wanted to let you know that I said a prayer for you tonight.  I pray that you would be a witness to whoever you come in contact with - Kuwaitis and military men and women, and that you would be encouraged in Jesus’ name.

No.  I have one better, Kevin and I sit 2 feet from each other in our room and im each other, routinely.  That is sad.

XPressXrun We should be painstaking and fussy in all the intelligence we give. We should be extraordinarily careful in giving guidance that we would not about of following ourselves. Most of all, we ought to refrain from giving advisor which we don’t tag along when it damages those who woo assume us at our word. http://excellent.groupsite.com/ - synthroid medication

I opine that to get the business loans from creditors you must present a good reason. Nevertheless, once I have got a collateral loan, just because I was willing to buy a building.

About

brittny I'm B-Love. I've just returned to America after spending three years in Kuwait with my husband Mr. B-Love and our two maltese, Boz and Lucy. We recently added two more doggies to our family, Rocky and Teddy. I love weight training, OU football, and lazy weekends. Buckle up and get ready for my constant embarrassing moments, continual madness at a new job, and my daily effort to rely on Christ while adjusting to life back in the real world.
