I'm Mrs. Oh My Gosh That Brittny's Shameless

A Series of Short Posts: 13 Feb 2008: The First Child

My sister is going to New York for a week next Friday. The kids here get 10 days off for a Kuwaiti holiday (!) so she’s off to meet up with some of the girls she paged with last summer.

Uh- how come our parents never let us do stuff like that when we were teens? I swear the first child is just a test run!

Oh!  You are not kidding!!  I am the oldest of 4, and the youngest two got EVERYTHING!!!  My dad was so lax with them, and I got in trouble for everything, and never got to do ANYTHING!!  They always had their boyfriends over on week nights, got to go out multiple times a week, didn’t have to share cars with one another… the list goes on and on… and CELL PHONES!!  You are too young to complain to about this, but I DID not have a cell phone (heck, my dad didn’t even have one then) when I was in HS… but my sisters did!!  I got 1 hour of phone time a day at home and that was it.  They got their own phone number!!  UGH!!  Can you tell I am just a little bitter about this??  Just a little.

SO FREAKIN TRUE!  I got a text message from my mom the other day asking if they made me go to bed at 10 when I was in high school.  She was shocked that I said “Yes”...they were SO strict on me, and my sister just comes and goes as she pleases!  I even had a freakin phone curfew!  AHHHHHHHHHHH

Agreed!
I wasn’t allowed to do much of anything, but as soon I was grown and moved out, my sister had free use of a vehicle, no curfew, free to come and go as she pleased!  What the heck?!  And, I was the “good child”.  No kidding.  My mom once asked me why I couldn’t have been a little more trouble to better prepare them for my sister smile haha!......And I had the freaking curfew wink

Wow - Brave P. I would be petrified to spend a week in NY and I live in New Jersey!

I got your post to my blog but not your e-mail about MK. Try me at and let me know what the word is!

Thanks

Excellent web-site. Nice posting comments system. My apologies for the off-topic post, however I was extremely astounded with Djokovic’s play in the final of the Australian OPen this year. The guy is probably unrivaled. He showed he was as strong as stainless steel. Just think about he he could beat Nadal who has been so determined to win as well as really was so energized up during the fifth set. I’m starting to feel that Djokovic is doing some psychic work to take some forces on his side which help him win this sort of matches against the best players in the globe
buy essay. Any idea what regarding Rafa’s game?
