I accidentally swallowed gum this afternoon, and my stomach feels sick now. I haven’t done that in years. Is it true that the gum stays in your system for a zillion years after you swallow it? I heard that was a farce. I bet it is.

I’ve always heard it stays in your stomach for about 7 years. Some museum guy told my classmates and I that when we were there on a field trip. We also got to see this huge hairball that they had taken out a child’s stomach. Trying to teach us a lesson to not chew on our hair or else that would happen to us, too. So, maybe it was all a lie about the gum? I am sure you can reserach it on the internet! But that guy sure made me paranoid so I never swallowed gum again! So his tactics worked on me at least.
I think it actually gets stuck in your appendix which may at some time burst because of swallowing too much gum...but what happens if you don’t have an appendix any more? Hmmm
I love the short posts.
Not true. When I was little, some hairbrained relative bought me a gumball machine. And I ate TONS of gumballs one day. And swallowed them. And they came out. I will spare you the rainbow-colored details
Good site. Nice commenting system. I’m sorry for the off-topic write-up, yet I ended up being quite impressed with Djokovic’s play in the final of the Australian OPen this year. The man is just unequalled. He revealed he was as robust as steel. Simply consider about he he could overcome Nadal who has been so inspired to win as well as really was so energized up during the fifth set. Now i’m beginning to feel that Djokovic has been doing some spiritual work to bring some forces on his side to help him win this kind of matches up against the very best players in the globe

Totally not true, I’ve seen proof. Let’s just say: toddler, diaper.
